An update fails
Palma and the Palma apps update themselves from palmalauncher.com. For that, an app needs one permission: installing apps.
Permission to install
If you see Allow with an update, tap it. Android opens Install unknown apps for that app; turn the switch on and go back. The update then carries on by itself. You can also set it yourself: Settings › Apps › Special app access › Install unknown apps › Palma.
Check yourself
In Palma: Settings › About and backup › Check for a new version. The apps look at most every twelve hours.
Samsung
If Auto Blocker blocks the update, turn it off for a moment (Settings › Security and privacy › Auto Blocker) and back on afterwards.
"App not installed"
Then a version with a different signature is on your phone, for example a test version. Make a backup first (Settings › About and backup), uninstall the old app and install again from palmalauncher.com/install.
Download gets stuck
Check your connection and try again. Or download the latest version from the website and install it over the old one: your settings stay.
