Notifications don't show in Palma
Palma shows notifications next to your apps, but only with notification access and when your phone doesn't put Palma to sleep.
1. Notification access
In Palma, go to Settings › Features and turn on Notifications next to your apps. Palma then opens the Android setting Notification access. Turn Palma on there. Notifications stay in memory only and go nowhere.
2. "Notifications got disconnected"
If you see Notifications got disconnected, tap Restore. Android cut the connection, usually to save battery.
3. Battery per brand
Android brands close apps in the background to save power. Set Palma to "unrestricted":
- Samsung: Settings › Battery › Background usage limits › Never sleeping apps › add Palma.
- Xiaomi: Settings › Apps › Manage apps › Palma › Battery saver › No restrictions. Also turn on Autostart.
- OnePlus and Oppo: Settings › Battery › Palma › Allow background activity.
- Pixel: Settings › Apps › Palma › App battery usage › Unrestricted.
The exact names differ a little per version.
4. Off for one app
Don't want a notification line for one app? Hold the app and turn off Notification line in the list.
