Make Palma your home screen
At the end of the first start, Palma asks to become your home screen. Dismissed it or decided later? This is how to set it yourself.
Quick
Open Palma and go to Settings › About and backup › Android default apps. Under Home app, choose Palma.
Per brand
- Samsung: Settings › Apps › Choose default apps › Home app › Palma.
- Pixel: Settings › Apps › Default apps › Home app › Palma.
- Xiaomi: Settings › Apps › Manage apps › Default apps › Home screen (on some versions: Settings › Home screen › Default launcher).
- OnePlus and Oppo: Settings › Apps › Default apps › Home screen.
Back to your old home screen
Same menu, then pick your previous app. Palma keeps your settings, so you can always come back.
Gestures stopped working?
On some older Xiaomi phones, Android's swipe gestures only work with Xiaomi's own home screen. The phone then asks you to use buttons. A HyperOS update usually fixes that.
