Fold postures: closed, open and half open
On a foldable, Palma adapts to how you hold it. On a regular phone you only see the closed posture.
Closed (cover screen)
Clock at the top, your favourites below, the alphabet on your thumb's side and search at the bottom. Everything you tap sits in the lower half.
Open (inner screen)
The list sits on the side of your hand. On the other side: Pick up where you were (the app you just used on the cover screen), one line with what's coming up, and your app pairs. Unfolding is enough to carry on.
Half open (tabletop)
Look at the top, control at the bottom. When music or video plays, the buttons sit at the bottom near your thumb. During a video call the picture stays on top. With nothing active you see a big clock with quick actions.
App pairs
Hold an app and choose Make app pair. On the inner screen the pair opens side by side.
Left- or right-handed
All three postures mirror along. To switch: Settings › Home screen › Hand, or type >hand left in search.
