Palma Cam: photo looks different or camera busy
Palma Cam makes nothing up: no AI and no sharpening. If a photo looks different from what you expect, a look or device is usually on.
Colour, grain or a date on your photo
- Look: under Look you may have Warm, Soft or Black & white. Choose Pure for what the lens sees.
- Device: a device (such as 2005, 2009 or Disposable) adds film colours, grain, another format and sometimes a date stamp. Choose Normal for a regular photo.
- RAW: the DNG next to your JPG always stays pure, even with a look.
Photo isn't in your gallery
If the Roll is on, your photos wait until the next morning or until there are 24. Then they go to your gallery. Set Roll to Off to see them right away.
"The camera is busy"
Another app is using the camera, for example a video call, another camera app or a scanner. Close that app and try again. If that doesn't help, restart your phone.
Black screen
Check that Cam may use the camera: Settings › Apps › Palma Cam › Permissions. Otherwise send us feedback from Cam, with the crash log ticked.
